Connect an AI assistant
GovPeak connects to AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Grok so you can ask about your pipeline in plain language. The assistant works only with your own company's GovPeak workspace and only with the access you grant.
Connect
- Claude: Settings → Connectors → find GovPeak in the directory and click Connect. (Before the listing is live, choose Add custom connector and enter https://gov-peak.com/mcp.)
- ChatGPT: until GovPeak is listed in ChatGPT's directory, turn on Developer mode (Settings → Security and login), then under Plugins choose +, name it GovPeak, enter https://gov-peak.com/mcp and pick OAuth.
- Grok: open Plugins (grok.com/connectors) → New Connector → Custom, name it GovPeak, enter https://gov-peak.com/mcp, and click Add Connector.

You are sent to GovPeak to sign in, then asked what to allow:
- Read only (default): the assistant can read your pipeline, action items, notes, history, events and search federal opportunities.
- Read & write: the assistant can also create or update pursuits, add pursuit notes, and create or update action items. It should tell you what it will change and ask before doing so.
Nothing can be deleted through an assistant connection.
What the assistant can do
Read: search and list pursuits; see a pursuit's details, action items, notes, history and events; list workspace action items and upcoming events; search and open federal opportunities (SAM.gov, Grants.gov and other public sources GovPeak collects).
Write (Read & write only): create a pursuit, update a pursuit, add a pursuit note, create an action item, update an action item.
Try asking
- "Which pursuits need my attention this week?"
- "Summarize my overdue action items and upcoming deadlines."
- "Find active federal opportunities related to cybersecurity."
- "Add a note to the Navy pursuit: industry day moved to the 14th."
Security and data
- Sign-in uses OAuth. GovPeak never receives your Claude or ChatGPT password, and the assistant never receives your GovPeak password.
- Every request is limited to the company and user you signed in as; other customers' data is never reachable.
- Your GovPeak role still applies: a read-only GovPeak user cannot write through an assistant either.

Disconnect
Remove the connector in your assistant's settings, or revoke it in GovPeak under Account → Connections. Revoked access stops immediately.
